Limits of the Geometrical Shape - Slots and Holes

One of the great advantages of Fine blanking is its ability to produce very fine features. Slots or holes can be placed very near to the edges of the part, or near each other.

Also, fineblanking can produce holes that are much smaller (as compared to material thickness) than can be produced by conventional stamping.
